I don't own a sugar glider (yet) but am seriously considering it. However, I don't want to jump into something that I don't know that much about without doing a little bit of homework first. You can e-mail me your thoughts since this is all such basic info it would probably bore the rest. How do they do with other pets in the household? I have one dog and no other pets. I am interested in one only as a pet and not for breeding purposes. Is it recommended to have them nuetered? If so, is this as simple a procedure as a dog/cat nueter or is it more dangerous for these guys? Is it cruel to only get one, or should I get a pair so that he/she won't be lonely? I have read and observed that they are very social creatures. Anything else that I should know before I actually take the plunge? My main concern is that I don't go out and make an uneducated purchase and then end up doing wrong by the pet.
