Reading the messages and archives here would be great. Also, you might check out the link below for more information, from the people who "didn't write the books". Bourbon's page gives very helpful information and links to other pages written by actual glider owners that have true to life experiences everyday.

It seems from your message that you have heard allot of the pros and cons already. The key to this being a success for you is that you really be an animal lover (sugar glider in this case). As long as you have your baby's best interest at heart, you will undoubtedly do everything that you can to make this a success. And expect to accept all of those cons along with the pros.
