: Well, beebee and I have been together for two months. We still have not bonded. Actually, we're not going anywhere. I let her out every night to run around the room. When I come into her room at night she jumps around in her cage. As soon as I open the door, she gets out. She'd much rather run around in the room by herself than play with me. I don't think she'll ever like me. I can't help but have hurt feelings. I want her love me as much as I love her.

There are different levels of bonding. The fact that she sees you and comes out of the cage to you is amazing. Some gliders will bite and crab at even the slightest sound or sight of someone. My gliders are not what others would consider "bonded". They see me as playtime. When I get them out to put them in a pouch they just take off and go play. I can call them and they come running, they will sit on my arm or hand for a chin rub, but for the most part they want their playtime. I know everyone says daytime is bonding time and night time is playtime, but at our house playtime is bonding time and daytime is "leave me the hell alone" time!
Be patient. If you think about it... 2 months isn't long at all when you think about her being with you for the next 15 years!
Good luck, and remember my three favorite words when it comes to gliders... bribery, bribery, bribery! :)
