My gliders remind me quite a bit of the way that cat's act with their owners. They are affectionate when they want to be. They mostly want to jump all over the room and investigate and are not the kind to really cuddle. So, I wouldn't say that just because Dundee doesn't show affection means that he is unhappy.

As long as you are dedicated to spending time with him and take good care of him and his nutrition, I would imagine that he is a "happy camper".

I really like the name that you chose - Dundee - really cute!
