I just got a baby girl a few days ago, and she is 11 weeks oop. she is a very sweet lovey girl. gizmo, a 7 mo.s old boy that i rescued from the pound about two or three weeks ago, (who is also very sweet, if not a bit bitchy and nippy!) has instantly fallen in love with her. he runs around and preens her constantly, but hasn't tried to mate with her (good thing!). She likes having someone around to cuddle, but sometimes tells him to stop preening her so much. they HATE having to sleep alone, especially gizmo. My question is, when is it safe for them to LIVE together? I certainly don't want her getting pregnant before it is safe for her to, but i also hate hearing gizmo crying for his lover! I don't think he's quite sexually mature yet, because my first guess was that he was neutered. his bald spots are small, and not matted down with oils, and he doesn't smell, like my other two boys do. how DO you tell when they are neutered?
