My two boys are very different. Ichabod (no relation to Holly's -- LOL) is very dominating and pretty quiet except for the occasional crab at me if I wake him up. Toby is very shy and VERY talkative. He barks, crabs, etc., all night long!
I have no girls so I have nothing to compare them to but just the fact that my two boys are so much different should shed some light that maybe sex doesn't necessarily have an effect on personality.
