Subject: Haven´t been here for long time / clipping nails, diet, pregnacy...(long post)

Hi,
I couldn´t attend this board for a long time now because of personal problems. My four gliders are still very well and I think I finally found a good diet for them (they get Bourbon´s Leadbeaters, additional fruits and veggies (sometimes baby food) mixed in, plus insects in the morning). I guess, around sunday I will own six of them little bandits (Mary is pregnant and this morning I saw a foot sticking out of the pouch).
I was concerned about Mary being pregnant again (she just gave birth to two girls - "Silk" and "Velvet") and thought about dividing her and her husband for a while. However, I think they are so used to each other (and after all, the father is very important in raising the joey´s) that I decided to let them stay together.

Two things I have to ask, however and I hope someone can help me with that:
1st, all my gliders are bonded to me (more or less), but I am just not able to clip their nails without force - I tried twice, but had to stop when they started squirming viciously and I was VERY VERY afraid to hurt them. They don´t use their wodent wheel, so sandpaper is no alternative. Any advice?
2nd, they start making noises I didn´t hear them to make before (and I have them for about half a year now). Usually they do it during daytime, when sleeping in their pocket. It´s a little bit like that sneezing, but longer, a little bit "shivering", like sssshhshshshshshchchrabshshhshsshhcrab...(hope that line helps to imagine the sound). Anyone heard this before? (They are not constipated and seem to be healthy anyway...)
