I have read on this board that it is bad to pick up a glider and that you should let them crawl to you. The funny thing is that when I pick her up she does not fuss. I cup my hands around her and sccop her up. It is when I lay my havd flat out in front of her that she fusses. The bredder who I got her from said that she (the breeder) picks her up and keeps a grip on her to keep her feeling secure. When I do that my baby is fine. It is when I have her standing flat on my hand that she seems to get nervous and fussy. I have read many things on this board as to what to do and what not to do but the truth is that all gliders have different personalities and mine just seems to prefer being held and picked up rather than loose and free. I will keep doing what I am doing and hope that the fussiness subsides all together at some point. : I think, you are on the right way. She obviously trusts you far enough to sleep in your hand - that´s already very much. Maybe just let her have her time - could be it gets better every day. One question: Do you "pick her up" or "let her climb your hand". That are two different things, mine just HATE it to be held, but come to me freely if I hold my hand out. Maybe Try to "lure" her onto your arm with a mealie or some other treat and let her eat it on you. That´s what I did and it worked great. : Good luck!
