Congratz on your baby. Are you planning on keeping the new male seperate from mom and dad or in the same cage?

I don't know about the towl method..but here is the method that my breeder used to teach mine to glide. I know that it has worked well for several gliders.

"They have to be willing to trust you first and be willing to come to you, then place them on a high place like a curtain rod, be there about 2 feet away, let them jump to you (not glide, jump). Then place them back up there each time moving back a little. All gliders glide, they just need the opportunity."

This is how mine was taught, and he glides like crazy all the time. From rather high places. He loves gliding to me, and if Im not careful he will land on my head or face. I play with my baby many hours a night, so he has good opportuninty. My room is specifically set up for climbing and gliding. I do not know how early you can start this, but mine was 10 weeks old when I bought him, and she had already taught him to glide at that point. I don't think it is ever to late to teach them, as long as they trust you, and you are a part of their playtime.
