I would dump him fast. He knows nothing about feeding glider. Peopel here have had gliders live far longer than anyone he knows. My gliders (the oldest) are 4.5 years old and Maria has had gliders over five years or is it six Maria? and Cynthia just had a glider die on her who was ten. It is obvious why the gliders he looks after die so young if tehy follow his advice. He is lethal however sweet he is. Oh and do not think of feeding the pretty pet food if you want a healthy glider noone that I know of approves of it AT ALL : well...i met our vet today...seems like a real cool down to earth guy and he knows alot about gliders...one thing that surprised me was that he told me that it was a little easier to feed casey that pretty pets crap pellet food than the diet he is on(leadbeaters)...seems odd to me......??he says that it has all the thingd he needs in it?but he said what im feeding him is great and he got a great urine and fecal sample too..he says everything looks good with his urine...no blood not too much protein or vit d3...so i was happy.....he knew of the tangaroo diet ..but probably didnt associate it with bourbons modifeid leadbeaters diet...i think hes on a great diet..buthe says hes been working with gliders for years and not to expect casey to live over 5 yrs??he says its mainly diet when they die so young...he also says that the longest one has ever lived for a client of his was three yrs and he didnt think they fed them right??well....just wanted to let you all know about the visit?is he a keeper???or should i look for another vet?
