: I will try to keep this short, I need help. I have two female gliders, I purchased a month ago. One of the females
: has a joey in pouch...do I need to separate the two females?
: Will the two be okay w/ the joey? I put the sleeping pouch
: on the floor of the cage so that the joey won't fall off the ledge of the three foot cage..I need to know all I can. Please Help.

YES you need to seperate them to help increase the chances of her keeping the joeys. Females will kill other females joeys! Keep in mind with all the stress the female has been under with the move and all plus being housed with another female the joey may not survive. I'll keep my fingers crossed though. Also when the joey starts coming out of the pouch you will have to play the "father role" since there is no father in the picture. When the joey comes out post again and I'll tell you more about what to do.
good luck
