Ok, as Karen said, yes, you will get bit occasionally. And yeah, when she bites, it probably won't be too hard, just a hello nip, testing grounds, etc. I find that they often nip lightly at first just to make sure that you aren't going to fight back, then they feel safe and stop. I have also found it extraordinarily helpful to offer a "licky" treat on your finger (generally a sweet tasting baby food), and she'll be too happy to lick it off to even think of biting you. Also, as Bourbon says, it shows her that your hands are safe and friendly. Also, have something that smells like you near her cage as often as possible. this will help her get to know you. The biting will stop, if the bonding is done right, just have patience.
And Karen - don't think they can't bite hard at that age - my little Peanut at 5weeks can sure tear into me! LOL! (She thinks she's pretty tough :)
