Subject: Finding a lesser evil (continued)

More info: I got Lilou and Pipa 10 days ago. They were crabbing quite a bit, didn't interact much with my hand in their cage except to snatch a really irresistible piece of treat. They are more and more used to me. They don't crab anymore when I move them a little during their sleep (like when I hang their fleece bag on me in the day. Lilou used to nip at my hand every time she got close to it, and also every time she licked puree from my finger. I tried not to react but I did jump most times. Lilou nips much less now. and she licks my finger without biting.
At night, I feed them a variety of fruits and vegetable, some boiled chicken breast, tofu, yogurt, mealworms or crickets (with Rep-Cal) in small amounts, I keep about two tablespoons of leadbeater's mix and fresh water in their cage day and night. I also keep some glider mix (pellets) at all time but they have no interest in it. Treats include edible flowers, one sunflower seed or one sixth of a pecan during play time, and unsweetened baby food to lick from my finger if they wake up in the day.
The cage contains branches, perches, fleece bags, toys (hanging ball, hanging coconut toy, bird swing... I will add ladder and other toys in the bigger cage).
I want to take them out of the cage more at night but I haven't finished gliderproofing. I took them out in the bathroom (I attached a sponge to the tank so the lid of the toilet cannot be left open. It falls back down). They weren't very interested in me. They just climbed up and down the towels... And I had to turn the light on to get them back in the cage... One more stress for them. I felt really sorry. They haven't been out of the cage much yet in their wake time but I do spend at least an hour with them every night. They seem to like when I play double bass near the cage (I have done so only with a mute on yet).
They also have a hollow ball to go around in the house but I still don't know if they like it or if they are just trying to get out of the confined space.
Two more questions. I think it will be soon time to cut their nails but as they haven't really bonded with me yet, I'm worried the extra stress might be detrimental. Is the fine sand paper really a good idea or could it hurt their little feet?
Also, in the last two days, I have noticed that every time that Pipa climbs on my hand (many times in a night), she leaves a trace of liquid (urine?) on it. Is this normal or one more sign of problems?
If you need more info, please contact me.
I have loved Australian animals since I was a kid and didn't think of them as pets. I feel very priviledged to have the opportunity to have these wonderful beings with me. I have loved Lilou and Pipa them in an almost unbearable way as soon as I laid eyes on them. I really want them to be happy. Thank you ahaed of time for your help.
