first thing you have to do is separate the two of them till the joeys come out of the pouch, Not that , that will solve your problem. but you do know the male has already eaten some . "we caught the male eating the baby before we knew it was even out of the pouch.YUCK!!! ". We don't know for sure if the female has actually done anything wrong yet. Separating them will definitly solve ONE of the problems. As far as a diet.. you haven't said what you feed them. Leadbeaters with some boiled chicken in it works real well the recipe is a few posts back for some modified versions. You didn't say whether or not you bought them both from the same breeder.. Could they be a related pair? Soon after the separtion, I would get the male neutered.(anywhere from $60.00-$100.00) Find out from your vet if he knows how to do the procedure, if not you will need to come back and see if anyone can give your vet the name of their vet that does. Is your vet familiar with gliders? If I am not mistaken, and I may be.. But I don't think goats milk was the right supplement for the babies. I think that "Outback Pets" (I am not real sure) could help you out there with a marsupial supplement. You can use a search to find that url. I have to agree with most of the posts that they are definitly not parenting material, whether it is from stress, diet, or genetics, there is something seriously wrong here. The main thing is to separate them, get the male neutered and be prepared in case mom rejects them too. Remember that if mom rejects them (like dogs) There could be something seriously wrong with them already. So saving them may not be possible but you can avoid it from happening again. Don't wait too long to get the male neutered though he will be ready as soon as the joeys are out of the pouch.. Good Luck and keep us posted..
