My female is rejecting her babies too soon.(I guess that is the problem.) She has had 3 litters. The first litter, one baby, we caught the male eating the baby before we knew it was even out of the pouch.YUCK!!! The second litter we found the male eating one and the other was so weak and dehydrated when we found it, it didn't make it. The third litter, we found the babies abandoned at the bottom of the cage, (mama took them down there). Female baby had 2 bite marks on its nose. Took them to the vet, she had us feed them goat milk. One died after 24 hours, the other lasted 4 days. He died with diareah all over his hind quarters. My female is pregnant again(the male is a real horndog). What do I do? Should I separate the male from the mama and babies? did I feed them the wrong stuff? HELP!!!!!!!
