: Well I have heard of a few people being allergic to them, but MOST people are not. It is a very small percentage of people. They shed very little if at all. I carry my babies around in a pouch, and I shake it out every night...I never see any hair in it. Also my dad is very allergic to dogs, I am slightly allergic to cats. Neither one of us has had any problems. Ofcourse you will have to see for yourself, but you will probably not have a problem with it. Out of everyone I have known to post only about 3 have posted that they were allergic.

My husband cannot even be in the same house as a cat. He is highly allergic to alot of things. But we do have dogs and alot of gliders. He has NO problem with them at all. He kisses them and has them close to his face alot of the time.
Please make sure you do an extensive amout of research on gliders and talk to folks that have them. Even more go and see and be around them. They are alot of work to care for and they will not survive if you don't give them alot of time and love. They live to be 12 to 15 years old. Thats a long cometment. Thier diet is very important and can get expensive. The vet bills can be out of sight. I am not try ing to discourge you but so many people don't look into these things. Like? Do you have a vet that knows about gliders and you can get to within 30 min. of illness? It only takes an hour for a glider to show signs of illness and then die. Please check all this and more out.
