Well I have heard of a few people being allergic to them, but MOST people are not. It is a very small percentage of people. They shed very little if at all. I carry my babies around in a pouch, and I shake it out every night...I never see any hair in it. Also my dad is very allergic to dogs, I am slightly allergic to cats. Neither one of us has had any problems. Ofcourse you will have to see for yourself, but you will probably not have a problem with it. Out of everyone I have known to post only about 3 have posted that they were allergic.
