I just wanted to let you know that it is possible to diegnose ahead of irreversable damage. All the vet has to do is a culture. A small skin scrape. It doesn't hurt, it's kind of as easy as rubbing a Q-Tip accross the ears. Now getting the Glider to hold still is another story. This is what they have to do to determine what type of mite the Glider has as well. Just thought I'd add to the topic.
