Well as you know Gliders are nocturnal, which means they will sleep during the day hours and up at nite. Then they come out. As for the cleaning and the licking of your hands, mine have started to do the same thing and I have often wondered if they are licking for the salt tatse. But as for the licking they may taste the food or different smells on you and they may like it.
