My boy did the same thing because he was not handled from the time he was oop. My girl is so sweet, she came from a breeder not a pet store and she has always been handled. But my Rocki is coming around. He only bits once in a while now and not very hard and is letting me handle him more and more, but you must be patient and persistant. Just let him do it in his own time, don't force the issue, also follow the stuff on the bonding page, it will help, you just have to be patient. feel free to email me if I can help.
