If she is really hot and dehdrated she would want to eat plenty of juciy foods such as friut. So that could be one reason. Did you watch to make sure she got plenty of food last night? Sometimes gliders get so excited playign that they will forget to eat for many hrs. If she played too much and didnt eat she may still be hungry yet too tired to eat as much as she needs..so she keeps waking up to snack. The fact that she has been eating so much all day makes me think thats not the case. Do you use tap water? My glider got girardia from using tap water. One way a parasite can work is by eating the glider alive...if she ahs a parasite it could be eating everything...she would always be hungry because of this. Some parasites can live dormant in the system so she could have had it for soem time and its just now waking up. Either way you need to see a vet. Have you taken to the vet since she arived there? Any drastic change such as this should be seen by a vet. The vet can easily take fecal samples to check for parasites. The vet can also check for dehydration. I would take her to the vet asap. Ok we have to leave for the vet in a few minutes, wanted to say I use tap water, but we put a filter on the faucet. They've never had anything but filtered since they've been here. Can they still get it from filtered water? She just saw the vet this Saturday, and he gave her and Toby a clean bill of health. He even said Toby doesn't need any more shots for the mites. She doesn't seem sick, she's just hording handfuls of food in her mouth. It's blended fruits and veggies in a bowl, so it's licky, and she's still grabbing handfuls of it and shoving it in her face. She could be a little dehidrated I guess, it is starting to get warm here. She did eat last night. We watch them eat still to make sure Toby doesn't bully her. He lets her eat first. I took them both out in one pouch today finally, and kept them both with me. She went right to sleep after I had them. So, I don't know if she was spooked or what? Puzzled. Jessica
