However some pain can be irratating enough that they can't sleep...and that stress could have her awake. As for the water filter: Do you have a PUR water filter? The top of the line PUR filters will filter out 99.9% girardia..but you ahve to get their more expensive ones..it will say on it that ti filters 99.9 % girardia out. No other water filter fliters girardia. I was using Brita at the time Peep got Girardia. I contacted many water filter companies after this happened..and PUR is the only one that can filter the girardia. So if you don't have the top of the line PUR then yes they can still get it. However since you were just at the vets last week I am assuming she had a fecal done then. To check for girardia they have to do a floating specimen. So if they did this recenlty then msot liekly she doesnt have a parasite. Since you did go to the vet I gueiss you know by now if she does or does not. AS for dehdration how hot has it been where they are keept? They can become sick at 85 degrees or higher. Also if the temp in your house has drasticly changed she could think its a seasonal change wich might cause her to act differently. Gliders depend upon the weather int he wild to tell them what to eat..how much to eat...how long to sleep..and the such...so if the temp varies a lot at your house she could easily become confused and act strange. I don't really know what else to tell you. I hope the vet had some answers for you.
