Time is on your side now Ramona, Spend as much time as you need introducing them, take it slow and use separate cages till they get used to each other. Remember they live up to 15 years. Then let time take it's course. I have had mine for about a year now and they just now have joeys in the pouch. Give them plenty of time to learn and grow to love each other and who knows by that time money may not be an issue. Good Luck..Keep us posted..
