I accually use the dry stuff as just part of my diet. My sugar gliders get frozen cubes of pureed fruits and veggies, mixed with yogurt, hard boiled egg, peanut butter, baby food chicken, etc (getting it balanced), which I then add the dry food to and let it soften, then I freeze it. They get a cube a night and they love it. My breeder has succesfully used the diet for while. The dry food (the Happy Glider food) has the vitamins, such as the D3 and the selenium (there is speculation that a lack of selenium can cause the hind leg paralysis) and other things that would be hard to compile on my own. They also have some of the dry food in another dish for snacking. Two of my glider eat a cube a night, no more, no less. They also get a few fruits on the side as treats.

I know everyone here preaches the Leadbeaters, so please, I don't need the lectures about diet! I'm just sharing with you a diet that works for me! I'm very careful to make sure it is balanced!
