: Perhaps the next time he comes back to pick it up (after Scout Camp) you can ask him how attached he is to it. Maybe tell him you know someone who has been looking for a sugar glider (just like his) and you think they would be a good match? Someone with alot of time on their hands? Just a suggestion, maybe he is too attached, but if he can leave the little guy all the time I don't see how he could be too attached.

i think he's attached, just immature, after he came by last night to get his pets and he got to see me play with my gliders his mom said he went home and let his glider out for an hour and a half. it's not so much he wants to leave its his mom makes him go with her as mom's tend to hate to leave kids alone at home and the boy scout camp thing is someplace named after his grand dad and it's a family obligation. I feel like i'm in a double bind,I care for the kid and his pets!!! I know when i go on vacations i worry about my dogs and gliders also. i've only been on one vacation since i had the gliders and it was rough. my dad is always wanting to know why i don't go see the relatives or do some trip and a doctor i work with wants me to return to charity trips with him and i've got to many reasons to stay home right now but i hope when i can finally get away i can find someone who will take good care of my pets. well thanks for being a sounding board, i feel horrible and better at the same time!!!
