Oh girls, we have a similar pet store in my area (different state), and I am always really scared of stores that specialize in reptiles, especially BIG ones, and also carry our small furry friends.
As you found out for yourselves, they feed bunny rabbits that are located in the front of the store where small children can see them - combined with the store owners remark which makes my blood run cold. I had a friends 6 yr old daughter witness a half-eaten bunnie at our store and she had ni.aspares for weeks. Why they don't feed them at night is beyond me.
Our store also handles 6 wk puppies - guess what happens to them if they don't sell within a couple of weeks?
If these people breed their own SG's, what do you think will happen to them? It's just a guess, but our store will feed their snakes ANYTHING furry that doesn't sell to keep from having too much money tied up in them.
ALL THIS IS JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT WHEN PURCHASING FROM A PET STORE.

By the way, the pet store here is in the process of being SHUT DOWN!
