How much would you say on average does a sugerglider owner spend in vet and other related costs in a year? We now spend almost nothing on veterinarians. It cost about $45 to have our male neutered, and we were taking them in about once a month to have their nails trimmed (at $19 a visit). We have since started trimming their nails ourselves (it is definitely a two-person job!). We take them in for a check-up about every 3-4 months, and that costs about $20 for the pair. Not real expensive at all.
