Alina, I was stating the reasons that I would not sell to teens and if you had bothered reading it you would note I never anywhere stated I didnt trust teens imerely stated the things outside of a teens control. These are a multitude of problems that could arise. There are enough problems for those with 100% control of their life that it sometimes seems too immense for teens.
Tens post saying how responsible they are- fine I trust you love your pet but I will trust you when 10 years have passed. I have had three years of owning a glider and let them out 320 days out of the 365. I have been too tired to go out because of looking after them. I have rescued seven gliders. I have spent $650 in vet fees. I have taken my gliders out to play when I was dealing with news of my fathers death. When youhave got past that then I will say there is no problems. but I answer emails daily from illeducated people that want gliders. People that cant take the time to plug sugar gliders into a search engine write to me for the basics while saying they just bought an animal. When i stop getting emails like that every day then I will stop my inherent need to ask people to think VERY deeply as to wether they can have a glider. and as to you taking your glider to college are you prepared to pay thousands more in rent just for your glider so you can live off campus. you will miss much of the social life that your peers will enjoy. If you thought your glider was expensive what will you feel when you need to pay thousands more in rent to have a place to stay taht allows gliders.
Good luck regardless but your running off with the wrong idea does not make me think that you are very mature.
