I paid $150 for a female, my cheapest acquisition...
Built a cage for $45
$? for license...Where do you live, why do you need a license, who would know? (I would only be concerned if I was selling)

More than the money, you need to be PREPARED to take on one of these guys, the money is a minor issue compared to the amount of information about the care that you need to absorb and be ready to use...
