: I got a glider from Outback Pets that was about that young. In my opinion she was taken away from her mother too young. Her tail was not fluffed out yet.
: She cried (not crabbing) for her mother and had trouble eating solid food at first. I had to hand feed her and carry her in my pocket almost non-stop for the first two weeks.
: She would get cold if I put her back in her cage. This may be why your glider likes the warmth of your hand so much.
: She too bonded very quickly, but after a couple of months she became very insecure and would jump at every noise or movement. She liked me, but was very scared of everyone else. After much hard work, patience and socializing she is starting to come around. She has finally started to calm down.
: This is just my experience, it may turn out different for you. My advice would be to spend as much time as possible your glider and make sure to keep him warm. I wish you good luck.

Hi Clara!

Thanks for the comment on my posting. I'm so glad that someone have been in my shoes before and willing to share their experience and knowledge. Now I can be prepared if the something similar happen with my baby boy, Buddie. At the time of purchase, I did thought that she was kind a young. I was only assured by the fact that the baby was already adjusted to a formula called nutriglider and didn't depend on the mother's milk for food.

I do have some questions to ask about the time period prior to change of behavior of your Outback Pets' glider. Did you have other gliders during that time you? Did you let other people hold the glider during that time?

I am hoping to avoid that change in nature like that of your glider by socializing him with my close friends and Pookie. This way he can have contact with others and not just me. What do you think?
