Subject: ferrets vs. sugar gliders

I have alot of experience with exotic and domestic pets but most of mine are
how should we say, more ornamental. I want something that will really play around
alot. I don't want something that while bite or poop all over me. I am willing to
prepare special diets including live food because I have a colony of both mealworms are
crickets. I want a pet that is very fun to watch and has a personality. I also want a
pet that can be taken all over the place with or without a harness.

I also can affored either but it would be a little steep (considering that both these animals are often best kept in pairs)
to get both so I can't deside which one. I have been doing volinteer work at a ferret shelter for a few months now and have
fallin love with the ferrets. But I read all this hype on sugar gliders and unusal animals have always apealed to me (
I am a chameleon breeder, go figure). So I want a honest opinion for someone who knows what their doing. Which would be better?
