Nah as far as I see it,, whoever posted (i am pretty sure i know who)98% sure obviously didn't do their research..Or they would know this doesn't bother me a bit..There are a lot of great posters on this board and I try to give them all credit from time to time..I say thanks more often than not. But you know and I know that I am not the only one here that pushes research.. There was so many inconsistancies with that post it almost pinpointed the person itself. Some one once asked me if I was posting under a different name.. There is no way.. Everyone has their own style and the way they answer things.. It wasn't hard to figure it out. But as you I am out to save the species, I will help new glider owners to be sure the glider has a fighting chance.. I do get the emails 200 was your question.. yeah if not more. The reason I don't post my email address is simple. Not to avoid a slam, but to have a little time for me. I answer questions all night long about gliders, many of them the same questions everyone else asks all the time.. I push research with EVERYONE that asks me a question that has been answered a thousand times before..This isn't too difficult..so someone don't want to take the time to research, they will probably continue having questions.. Many good veteren glider owners have backed off of the message bases for the same reasons, tired of watching, hearing, and having to deal with yet another dead or abused glider. I will fight for their species because they can't fight for themselves, they don't get a choice where they are going to live or how they will be treated. We have heard it.. IF they still have their gliders in a year and IF they are still as attached to them as they are now, then they too may be pushing for the same thing.. I know a girl ( who knows who I am talking about said to me one day "Why should I care what happens to their gliders" She still feels this way.. I care .. it is like watching a man in a canoe rowing into a large wave on the ocean, you can't do much but you do what you can.. even if it doesn't help much. At least you tried. Thats what I will do to try to save each glider, I will at least try.. I have to live with myself. I am happy with what I do, for I know the intentions are for the glider, and not just for me. A real veteren appreciates it when someone spends the time to be prepared for their new family member. By the way how many breeders do you know has had their gliders 8 years? Don't answer just a thought..
