: : I just got a new female Sugarglider and the smell isnt the greatest thing in the world. Its the only bad thing about her. Any Suggestions? I change her cage often but it still continues...please Help!!!

: I use baking soda & water to clean my cage. I put about 1 Tbsp baking soda in a spray bottle and fill with water. I spray this all over the cage (after taking everything out) and let dry. Then rinse off with clear water or wipe off with a damp sponge.
: This works wonders for the smell.

Clara,

I don't really recommend too regular cleanings like this. For about two weeks afterward, the gliders will simply rescent their cage. If you are patient (rarely more than two weeks), they will make their cage smell like home, then leave it alone. You will not smell them after the first few weeks, Unless you clean the scent off their cage.
