I had babies that I weaned too late and by the time I weaned them, they had lost their tail tips. It only happened once, but I learned to get weaning done on time. I actually pointed it out to the folks I sold them too and gave them a discount and very sincere apologies. As I said, it doesn't really hurt gliders in captivity. In the wild it might make it more difficult to steer. Maria
