Hi everyone!
I hope someone can help me figure out what to do with my baby. I think maybe she is in heat, because the last few days, she is always trying to run off, and she's gotten really grumpy. She even bit me hard enough to draw blood, but she has never, ever done this before. She was taken from her mom March 15th, and I've had her since. I spend all my waking hours with her and we have been really close; I haven't changed anything diet or treatment wise. Do you think she is in heat? If so, how long will it last? Is it okay to spay her without her having had joeys or will it change her temperment (as many people have said.) I can't get a male right now, but I could probably find someone to let me breed her with, but I'm afraid she'll be lonely. Is that a valid concern?
Sorry for so many questions, but I want what is best for her. If anyone can recommend a resource book or site, I will be greatful. Thanks Thanks for all your help!
