Message: Many if not all of the things I have read have said I should take my Glider out and feed her, or I should move slowly when picking her up, or just scoop her up. Things of this nature Well it is fast becoming clear that this is impossible with my Glider. I do not want to stress her out so I try to leave her in her pouch when transplanting her to and from her sleeping box and my shirt poket etc. This is great for keeping me from getting bitten, however I dont think we are bonding this way. As a matter of fact, I think she is getting more vicious. My fingers are quit chewed up. All she does is sleep all day and never stirs at all. For the most part we leave her in her cage during her waking hours, I am hoping this will change quickly, but all she seems to want to do is run away and I think that would be extremely bad. She did jump out of the pouch to the floor on the first night, this started a 10-20 minute search and trap safari around the house, which I'm sure upset her very very much. On the bright side I have managed to get her to eat a thing or two out of my hand, when I had her attention on the food I began rubbing her head, she didnt seem to mind but every move on my part sends her crabbing for 2 or 3 minutes. And early this morning she didnt seem as bothered by my hand in her cage, but it is a big cage and I had a worm. She was to old to begin with and She has only been a member of the family 4 days, so I'm sure I'm jumping the gun, but I do wonder if I should take the food out of the cage except when I am hand feeding her? Should I take her sleeping box out of the cage? Is it a good idea to keep her in her pouch when Im handling her for the time being? ..... There are so many different opinions about these and many other basic (to you experienced folks) questions, that its hard to know who to trust. And the Breeder I got her from is not trust worthy in my humble opinion. If you have any comments or answers to these or any other basic getting started questions I would be very appreciative
