I got a glider from a good breeder, but the baby I got was 3 or 4 months old and not very friendly. I call her Taz, if that tells you anything. She used to bite the ---- out of me. I use a beanie baby sleeping bag for their sleeping bag. I wear two shirts, and put the whole bag in between the two shirts. She will usually come out of the pouch ina while and then I take the pouch out. I leave her in my shirt all day. They will rattle at everything the first day, but it usually lessens a great deal after that. I take mine to school(college) just a bout every day. This has worked very well, although I also have a tame glider in with her. I just put both of them in my shirt. This works just as well with the one, but it is important to wear shirts the glider can't get out of,ie. button-up shirts. They will get out at the sleeves, if not the front. Taz got out in class one day, but lucky for me she was already a little tamer from the previously mentioned procedure. If you try it please let me know how it worked. the glider will bond with your scent. It is also a good idea to sleep with a pillow case for a couple days or so and then put the pillowcase in the gliders bed. this will facilitate bonding as well. Good Luck. I handle my babies daily starting when their eyes open so they will be friendly.
