Hey Bourbon -

I noticed that you have Maryland as an UNKNOWN state - I just though you'd be interested to know that I spoke to DNR the other day regarding sugar gliders. They said that as of July 3, sugar gliders are legal in Maryland, no permits for ownership required. They can be kept legally just as guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils. If you need to know the name of the person I spoke to and her number, let me know as there is no e-mail "conversation" to forward to you. I'm still trying to contact USDA - I'll let you know what they say as soon as I find out.
