A friend of mine purchased a 1-year-old female about two months ago. Her hair on about the last inch of her tail is very thin. Her cage wasn't real clean and she really didn't have a place to hide before but he has fixed that. A little boy that had lost interest owned her. My friend loves her dearly and spends lots of time with her now. He takes her to work and everything. But her tail still isn't putting on hair and now it seems to be turning black. She is very alert and bright eyed and seems to be happy. He goes by the diet guidelines. Does anyone have any ideas on helping her get her hair back? Please HELP!
