Brandi,
This is a perfect opportunity for you to bond with the baby girl. Often if the baby is too young the male does not see her as a mate - more like another male's baby. My suggestion would be to keep them apart - work with the baby and reintroduce them when the female is 4-5 months oop.
A mature male may rape a young female. It is best not to put a baby girl in with a sexually mature male.
