I've been working on building a glider cage for some time now... I am using a closet which I have fixed up a bit to house the gliders and simply need to repaint the walls with something which will protect against glider droppings and any liquids which may get on the walls ;) The two doors of this closet have been removed, so I'll need a cage door as well. I have looked around for a possible wire cage material, but being fairly large, I haven't been able to find any places where I could get enough cage material (coated) without making it myself. I have, however, thought of something else. What about those plastic fence-type things used to prevent dogs/babies from wandering into certain rooms? If I had enough of this, could it be used instead? It's firm enough to prevent them getting out and I doubt they would attempt to chew through them. They are also pretty cheap, so I could spend more money on the glider's toys, food, etc. My next question is, what kind of pain can I use? I was thinking of using some sort of bathroom-type pain which would be resistant to water and stuff (hopefully). Any comments, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated...
