I will be getting another addition to my "family" next weekend. I have one boy "Bicho" and I want to get him a companion. I also would like to know about making sure that I am able to meet the food and water needs when I take her with me. I am getting a baby this time. So, I hope someone responds to your questions.

: I know that many, many people on this page carry their gliders around with them in pouches all day long. My little guy is only 3 months old, however, and I'm a little concerned. I notice that during the daytime he gets up every little bit (I don't really know how often)to get a drink of water, then goes right back to sleep. I always play with him at least a couple of hours a day, but it's always in the evenings. If I begin to carry him with me 8 or 10 hours a day, do I need to wake him up every couple of hours and give him a drink? Or even feed him every 4 or 5 hours? I know that once they are older this probably isn't necessary, but he is so little and sometimes seems so fragile. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

: Kim
