In response to your feelings about shipping sugar gliders, you are right.. it scares the little guys a lot. However, if you ship them air freight they can get there in a day. I know a woman that lives a few hours from me (that I met on this page actually) who bought a pair of gliders by mail, and they didn't get to her until the next day. They were frightened, and totally unfriendly at first, but she got them about 2 weeks ago and I just got a letter from her today that the older one ( a girl) warmed up finally today and let herself be carried around without crabbing. Shipping is a traumatizing experience.... one that can't be taken lightly, and the gliders must be well taken care of and pampered for a smooth adjustment, but it can be done.
