I think you should clip your gliders nails, byt maybe not so short. You'll
get better with practice. I have cut my gliders nails too short at times also
and had the same thing happen. If you don't cut them, some gliders get caught
on anything and everything, and that is even more dangerous to them. One of my gliders
has to have her nails cut at least once a week for this reason. As your glider gets
older and stronger, and hates to have its nails cut, try wrapping it in a small towel
or something and pulling out a foot. My gliders fight me, bite me, and struggle, but
it needs to done! I give them a snack afterwards to make them feel better.
