: : Does anyone out there own both of these? I'm wondering if they get along OK. Could I keep them in the same cage? Any breeders out there that could give me some info on the squirrels? I have a sugar glider, would like some company for him. Any help is appreciated. Melissa
: A guy I know tried it and it didn't work at all, they had to be kept in separate cages. He said the squirrel was a pain in the butt. They're two very different pets. The squirrel is a rodent, the glider isn't. The glider will bond with you and sleep all day in your pocket, the squirrel won't. The sugar glider will very much appreciate a sugar glider for company.
: This isn't my personal experience, but I believe him totally.

You, my friend, obviously know nothing about Southern Flying Squirrels! These animals DO bond to their owners and are NOT "pains in the butt". Do not post things that are ignorantly untrue!
