I was thinking yesterday,in my fury about the uneducated pet stores and the unwillingness of the workers to change any of it, why are there no inspections for pet stores that make sure their exotic animals are well treated? I know calling the humane society ( in my area, at least) doesn't work, because they warn the pet stores beforehand, giving them time to cover up any idiocies ( living or dead) that they have made. Would there be any way we could get something like this passed? Those of you that have lobbied for gliders in other areas of the US and Canada might be interested in this .
