: : Should I get a glider? Some people say that they're mean and bite....I don't want to spend a lot of money on one thats mean..please help. the oje in the store has alreay peed on my entire family and biten my mother. Please help!

I think the most imporant question you need to figure out even if you are able to get a tame glider from a breeder is whether or not you are going to make the long term commitment even through times where your pet may bite you and crab at you and not even think twice about peeing on you. Even a good glider can turn "mean" if you don't spend enough time with it consistently for the rest of its life.

: Yes unfortunately most young gliders do need to be socialized and many of them still need to be tamed. To do this you will go through many such periods of biting and crabbing and readjustments. Do not dispare however. You do not have to get your glider from a pet shop. If you can find a breeder that has spent quite a bit of time with their baby gliders you should be able to get one that won't even crab at you let alone try to bite you.
