I only have one female that does this, but she did it twice. I checked her nest box just as the baby came oop, within 2 days she had eaten the baby. She has had other litters successfully when I wasn't checking on her quite as closely. When I left her alone until the bulge was gone from the pouch and the hissing noises were coming from the nest, she had no problem with me checking on the babies. Apparently, it just really bugged her if I checked with her in the nest and the babies fresh oop. Maria
