I have a male glider...ahuge , fat male, named Ouija (pronounced Weegee) who chatters to our female every day. If we take Pheobe out for a while and put her back in the cage with him, he goes up to her, chattering really loud, sometimes he gets realy into it and makes this bark-whine sound. Then he grabs the fur on her face and rubs the top of his head under her chin. I think chattering is a sign that they are happy to see their loved one.
