Bourban, <but to ALSO have it in a place where It can be quickly referenced to.. How many times have you tried to look for info that was posted here, specific info. and it took several hours to find? Thats what were were suggesting with the web page.. NOTHING more NOTHING less.>>Okay, maybe I misunderstood or have been missing some information. So, you are suggesting that all the info be put in one place and that's all? I think that's a GREAT idea, if Heather is willing to do that. Thank goodness people like you and Jane and others have done that so far with GliderNet and Baybe's place, etc. I thought you were saying she shouldn't post on the board - so I apologize if I was incorrect. <IF the info could be found when needed. I have dedicated most of my time ,not only to my own gliders, but to many others and their owners as well. I Too am interested in Info, My days are spending researching every day.>> Yes, I know you and Jane well enough to know that you, like me, have the best interest of all gliders at heart first and foremost, and that each of you has worked at reasearching and educating others. Your efforts have had a tremendous impact and have benefitted all of us. <that accidents do and will happen. We base our beliefs on the exact same thing. Why not look for ways to prevent problems that may and will happen.>>I think I see where you are coming from - you are worried about the gliders and protecting all of them from uneducated or new owners who don't have enough info to make a good decision (like the sneezing issue). <permanant place AS well as here, wouldn't help someone find it quickly and easily. Tell me that the message bases don't get info buried so deep you can't find it.>>No arguement here on either point. <their own glider?>> Yes, that's a concern. But doesn't that have to be balanced with the possible benefit to gliders? For every glider that is harmed, five more might be helped. Also, my understanding of Heather's purpose was that people take the information *to the vet*, not to make decisions on their own. Hopefully the vet would have sense enough to examine the glider and not just take the owner's word for what's wrong. <HELPING each other. Working together to find solutions.>>I agree completely. And I appreciate that you listen to my concerns without being defensive. It's nice that we can discuss things we disagree on. And I want to say again that I know you have the glider's best interests at heart and that I appreciate all you do. I just don't want to lose access to this precious information that Heather could give us...so little is known about gliders already - and I want to take care of Eos as best I can, like you want to with Baybe.
